CURRENT MINISTRIES in ALLEN TEMPLE (listed in alphabetical order):

Beyond the Walls - In part responsible (along with all the followers of Christ) for outreach events that include but are not limited to: clothing drives, food drives, etc.

Choir - In the worship & praise of God, singing and the utilization of musical instruments plays a prominent role. The choir leads and aids the congregation in those areas.

Christian Education (Sunday School, Christian Youth Fellowship, REACH Young Adult Ministry) - Develops and promotes the program of Christian nurture of the church according to the needs of the local congregation and community; organizes and administers the educational ministry and activities of the church; etc.

Doorkeepers/Ushers - Admits people to the house of worship, attends to their comfort while they are therein; etc.

Evangelism and Membership - Responsible for organizing the contact information of the people of the congregation as well as reaching out to the congregation in various ways.

Media - Responsible for developing and maintaining the church's website and internet services, photography, audio & visual services, etc.

Ministerial Staff - Called by God and licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ; assist the pastor as needed; in various capacities, serve God, the congregation and neighbors.

Ministry to Men - Serving the needs and interests of men in the church and community.

Stewardess - To serve the table of the Lord; to serve the table of the poor; to serve the table of the ministry; etc.

Stewards - To keep an accurate account of the money collected and spent by the Lord's church; To share their ministries with the needy and the distressed by seeking them out and by providing for them; To seek out the sick and to inform the pastor of those who are sick; etc.

Transportation - Assists in driving the church's vehicle(s) in order to transport people to and from church services, events, activities, etc.

Trustees - Make the property of the church available and accessible to the pastor and other duly authorized ministers; etc.

Women's Missionary Society - To encourage the study of the Bible and to assist in spreading the Gospel.
